Just a taste of the few fabrication and restoration projects of the past.
1937 Seagrave restoration.
This was an original Detroit rig. The need for a purpose built rig was becoming quite clear due to insurances, taking a working rig out of service and the logistics of using a modern rig to transport the fallen to their final resting place. All the fabrication and sheetmetal work was done at Todd's. A small group of dedicated volunteers helped to make this rig a reality with assembly work and anything else they could do.I am quite proud of the rig and all the guys who did their part. It is available to any firefighter line of duty death in the state of michigan.
